Its large surface allows it to be used very close to the subject if desired, reducing the need for multiple flashes. Thanks to their square shape, multiple units can be banked together for extremely large sets. Despite the large size, the Quadra, like all Elinchrom Light Banks, is lightweight, portable, and easy to set up - so it can be used for both studio and location shooting. Round front diffusers are available for those who prefer round catchlights.
